Clifford R. McKee
Clifford McKee, 71, of Gower, MO formerly of Hamilton, MO passed away May 4, 2017 at his home under the care of hospice after many years of suffering from his exposure to agent orange.
He was born on February 27, 1946 to Ray Ammon and Bertha LaVeta (Cole) McKee near Hamilton, MO. Clifford attended Hamilton Schools and graduated from Penney High School in 1964. Upon his graduation, he was employed at Farmers Produce and Grain in Hamilton as a truck driver. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the
US Army.

On October 28, 1967, he married Martha Ann Whitacre. To this union was born two children Stacie Jo McKee Gaylor and Ryan Mathew McKee. They later divorced. In July 1978, he married Linda Petrey. They have lived the past 36 years in Gower, MO.
Clifford had worked at Safeway Grocery Warehouse in Kansas City, KS, assisted Eddie Pickett Auction Service and for the past 25 years for Coulter Bus Company in
Smithville.

He liked antiques, garage sales, mowing his lawn, flowers and his dogs, Peaches and Sadie.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, sister Martha Yake, a niece and a grandson Jeffrey Petrey.
Clifford is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Linda, of the home; children Stacie Jo Gaylor and husband Reece, Ryan McKee and wife LaTasha, Dana Kelly and Martin
Petrey; nine grandchildren Sienna and Liam Gaylor and Miranda, Noah, Riley, Cameron and Jevin McKee and Emily Tate Stephens and Jonathan Petrey; two great-grandchildren Brody and Alexis Petrey; sister Nancy Millikan and husband Glenn; brother Harold McKee and wife Violet; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 13th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower
Military Graveside Services 3:30 p.m. at Allen Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the St. Joseph Animal Shelter or a charity of your choice.
