Clifford Frank Crouse

 

 

Clifford F. Crouse, 89 of Easton, MO passed away, Monday, March 18, 2013.

 

He was born on November 28, 1923 to Frank and Hazel (Marker) Crouse near Easton where he grew up.  Clifford graduated from Easton High School in 1941.

 

On February 27, 1946 he was united in marriage to Margaret Grier.  After their marriage they lived in rural Easton where they dairy farmed.  His wife, Margaret, passed away, March 18, 2007.

 

Clifford was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Easton where he was an Usher and rang the morning church bell.  He was an original member of the East Buchanan School Board.  Clifford served as Director of the Kansas City Division of MidAmerica Dairy Inc.  He was a member of the Easton Lions Club.  Clifford was very caring and compassionate, and loved his family, neighbors, and pets. 

 

He was also preceded in death by his parents, twin brother Emmett Crouse, brother Harold Crouse, and grandson, Brian.

 

Clifford is survived by his four sons, Stephen Crouse, Arthur Crouse and wife, DiAnne, George Crouse and wife, Diane, and John Crouse and wife, Cindy, all of Easton, one daughter, Marilyn Rittenberg and husband, Michel, Coral Gables, FL, nine grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, McKenzie, Bethany, Jami and husband AJ, Jill, Jessica, Ryan, and Camille, two great-grandchildren, Emily and Drew; sister, Frances Boyer, Weatherby, MO; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

 

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 21st at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Easton.

Burial:  St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Rosary:  6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home with visitation following until 8:00 p.m.

 

Donations:  St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
