CLETUS W. FISHER

Cletus W. Fisher, 82, of Stewartsville, MO, passed away, Tuesday, December 13, 2005.

He was born on August 3, 1923 to William P. and Dorothy Emma (Wiedmaier) Fisher near Easton where he grew up. Cletus attended the Catholic School and Spring Hollow School both in Easton, and later graduated from Easton High School. He then served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. After his honorable discharge he returned to the Easton area.

On April 21, 1945 he was united in marriage to Edna Mae Lawless. After their marriage they farmed and operated a dairy farm near Easton where they made their home. Cletus also worked at the Armour Packing House in St. Joseph.

He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Easton, and was a member of the Catholic Order of Forrester?s.

Cletus was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Henrietta Barry and one brother, Eldon Fisher.

He is survived by his wife, Edna, of the home, one daughter, Connie Webb and husband, Bill, Gower, MO, two sons, Eddie Fisher and wife, Debbie, and John Fisher, all of Easton, MO, four grandchildren, Lisa Gallagher, William ?Ace? Webb, and Corey and Eric Fisher, seven great-grandchildren, Skylar, Sierra, Douglas, Tabitha, Noah, Amber, and Brandon, two sisters, Juletta Bauer, Stewartsville, MO, and Wilma Bain, Cameron, MO, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Easton, MO.
Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Easton.
Rosary will be 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the church with visitation following until 9:00 p.m.
