Claron Lingo
Claron D. Lingo, 90, of rural Plattsburg, MO passed away, Sunday, November 19, 2018.
He was born on May 17, 1928 to Leo Melby and Alta (Gordon) Lingo in Harris, Kansas where he grew up. His family later moved near Plattsburg and Claron graduated from Plattsburg High School.
On June 14, 1952 he was united in marriage to Mary Lou Schuster. After their marriage they lived in rural Plattsburg where they made their home. Claron was farmer all his life.
Claron was the president of the Mt. Zion Cemetery and where he was the caretaker for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sister, Ralph Lingo, Ethel Rayburn, Meryl Lingo, and Charles Lingo.
Claron is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; sister, Ruth Ann Keith; nieces and nephews, Frankie Frazier and husband Randy, Randy Sloan and wife Cindy, and Kimberly Nelson; several great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 21st at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 20th at the funeral home.
Burial: Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Donations may be made to Mt. Zion Cemetery.
