Cindy Rogers

Cynthia Rogers, 60, Kansas City, formerly of Smithville, MO passed away, Sunday, November 16, 2014.

 

She was born on September 4, 1954 in St. Joseph, MO.  Cindy grew up in Smithville and graduated from Smithville High School in 1972.  She attended Rockhurst University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts.

 

Cindy worked for KC Royals for 10 years. In 1985, after the World Series, she moved to California.  Cindy returned to Kansas City, MO in 2000.

 

Cindy was a member of the Smithville Christian Church.  She loved animals.

 

Cindy is survived by her mother, Wanda (Wilkerson) Rogers, Kansas City; brother, Mike Rogers, Parkville; cousins, Pat Paton, Kansas City, Celeste Rose Moore, Liberty, Janice Keefer, Kansas City; other relatives and many friends.

 

The family would like to thank KU Oncology and North Kansas City Hospital and Hospice.

 

Visitation:  6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 19^th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.

No flowers, Donations may be made to Eagle Animal Hospital.
