I loved my grandfather as if he was my own father for telling me stories from his past and they were really fascinating, cool, and made me honored to hear them, even if some were very sad and terrifying that he shared when he was in the Korean War.
The best thing that I remember very clearly, was when I was 9 or 10 years old when he took me fishing for the first time. I was so tired that early morning, but being with my grandpa and getting to know him more, and having fun was all I wanted. The sunrise was awesome to see. I’ve never truly seen the sun rise before. I caught and released Rainbow Trout, saw tons of nature that I never seen with my own eyes. I’m really happy that I was adopted into this family and got to have him in my life. I miss him terribly. I love you grandpa!
