Chester Harvey Wilson
Chester Harvey Wilson, 83, of Dearborn, MO, passed away Monday, November 12, 2012.
He was born on November 19, 1928 to Kemper Scott and Minnie Lee (Boydston) Wilson in Dearborn, MO. In 1946, he graduated from Camden Point High School. Chester then served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.
Chester enjoyed farming, hunting, and fishing and loved catching rattle snakes.
He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Charles, Wilburn, Robert, and Allan Wilson and two sisters, Mary Lee Denney and Jean Williams.
Chester is survived by his niece Minnie Sue Wilson and her children Kyle Ballard and Alesha Matthes all of the home; two sisters, Mildred Bradford, Strafford, MO and Norma Robinson, Stockton, MO; one bother Lloyd Wilson, Smithville, MO; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation: Wednesday, November 14th 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton.
Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 15th at Ridgely Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory in care of the funeral home.
