Charlotte Montgomery
Charlotte Montgomery, 81, of Kansas City, MO passed away, February 29, 2024.
She was born on February 5, 1943 to Roy Harvey and Charlotte (Wilson) Fleming in Kansas City, MO. Charlotte grew up in Kansas City, MO and graduated from East High School in 1961.
She met the love of her life at Hallmark Cards and was united in marriage to Gary Montgomery on March 2, 1962. After their marriage they lived in Kansas City before moving to Smithville and starting their family.
She retired from Hallmark Cards after 38 years and they moved to Pharr, Texas for a few years before returning to Kansas City. She very much loved her family, loved to bowl 3 times a week and play cards weekly.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life of 61 years, Gary; her parents; her brother, Bob Fleming; and sister, Sharon Nolan.
She leaves behind two children, Richard (Diana) Montgomery of Kansas City, MO, daughter Cindy (Guy) Carter of Independence, MO; sisters, Carolyn Rider and Karen Wingerter; sister-in-law, Ruth Fleming; grandchildren, Stephen (Danita) Brooke, Katie and Chris Braton, Linda Piemonte (Aaron), Liz Piemonte (Edwin), Kaylee (Brett) Campbell, and Kristian Carter; great-grandchildren Gavin, Makenzie, Hunter and Ryker Brooke, Waylon Braton, and Cooper Campbell; several nieces, nephews and extended family and loving friends.
There will be no services.
