Charlotte Jean (Misenhelter) Orr

Charlotte Jean (Misenhelter) Orr, 90, of Agency, MO passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015.

She was born on July 31, 1924 to Harry J and Maude Jane (Bowers) Misenhelter in Lathrop, MO where she grew up and in 1942 graduated from Lathrop High School.

On September 22, 1942, she was united in marriage to James Elmo Orr. While her husband Jim served his country in the US Army, they lived in various military post in the United States and Germany. After Jimâ??s retirement from the military, they moved to St. Joseph, MO. In 1988, they moved to California to be with their son and grandsons and in 2009, returned to the Frazier area. Her husband Jim passed away on April 30, 2011.

Charlotte loved being a homemaker.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, David Orr; sisters, Dorothy Patterson, Virginia Todd, Maurine Freed, Roberta “Bud” Glenn and Lucille Dillard; and brother, J.W. Misenhalter.

Charlotte is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sherry Orr; two grandsons, Brandon Orr and wife, Lisa and Sean Orr and wife Maria; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews including, Bonnie (Tony) Simpson, Walt (B. Ann) Patterson, Donna (Doug) Wilson and Jackie (Robert) Musser; other relatives and many friends.
