Charlie Lamb

Charlie Lamb, 66, of Trimble, MO formerly of Smithville, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at his home. 
 
He was born on October 12, 1950 to Charles Albert Lamb and Dorothy White in Wagram, NC.  Charlie grew up in Smithville and graduated from Smithville High School in 1968.  
 
Charlie owned and operated Lambco Enterprises, LLC for many years.  He loved being with his children and especially his grandchildren.  He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors and loved riding and travelling on his motorcycles with friends.
 
Charlie was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy White; step-mother, Vita Lamb; grandparents,  Ellis and Byrda Baker; sister-in-law, Carol Lamb; and niece Kimberly Lamb.
 
He is survived by his children, Clint Lamb and wife Jenny, Jennifer Lamb, Harley Lamb and wife Liberty; grandchildren, Mystery, Lanie, Chance and Emma; his father C.A. Lamb; brothers Al (Barbara), John and Pete Lamb; sister, Cheryl Lamb (Dave Palmstein); brothers and sisters in North Carolina; special friend, L.A. Ross; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and many friends.
 
Visitation:  5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, May 26th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, MO.
Celebration of Life will follow the visitation Friday on the Smithville American Legion.
There will be a motorcycle procession to the Legion.
