Charles Anderson

Charles William Anderson, 89, of Dearborn, MO passed away, June 18, 2021.

He was born on September 15, 1931 to Van Clayborn and Lavern (Norris) Anderson in Wallace, MO. Charlie grew up and attended school in Wallace, MO. He worked on the family farm until joining U.S. Army, March 6, 1953 serving in Germany until March 1955. Upon returning home, he helped on the farm. 

Charlie worked for Curtis Palmer Quarry, Anchor Serum, Martin K. Eby Construction, Beaty Grocery Co, Missouri Pacific Truck Lines, Seitz Packing House, Herzog Construction, and also helped local farmers after his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his brother, J.C. Anderson; and sisters, Francis Williams and Helen Farris.

Charlie is survived by his sons, Chuck Anderson and wife, Jonna and Rick Ames; brother, Marvin Anderson; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 22nd Union Cemetery, Faucett, MO.

Donations may be made to the Union Cemetery Association.

    Knowing what I always knew as Charley Anderson, I want to express my Condolence’s. I knew Charles many years in the 60’s -70’s. He was always a man one enjoyed knowing. I knew him all my life he was a true friend,he was every hard working man I had the pleasure of working with him building tobboco barn an helping in his tobboc field,ten dollars ahour an that was big money for me when I was young man,he always bought dinner ,in time like this words are hard to say so I just want to say chief I will see u again ronnie dennis
