Charles Albert Lamb
Charles Albert Lamb, 89, Smithville, MO passed away November 27, 2018.
He was born on December 2, 1928 to Byron R. and Byrda H. (Summers) Lamb in Smithville where he grew up and attended Smithville High School. C.A. served his country in the US Army during WWII.
On January 22, 1955 he was united in marriage to Vita Casciola. After their marriage they lived in Kansas City, Denver, CO, Salt Lake City, UT, and in 1980 they returned to Kansas City where they made their home. Vita past away on December 22, 2006.
C.A. retired from Jack Cooper Transport in Kansas City, KS. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #41 and the Smithville American Legion #58. C.A. enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a loving dad, grandpa and brother who will be dearly missed.
He was also preceded in death by his son Charles Ray Lamb; granddaughter Kimberly Lamb; and daughter-in-law Carol Lamb.
C.A. is survived by his children Al Lamb and wife Barbara, John Lamb, Cheryl Lamb (Dave Palmstein) and Pete Lamb; daughter-in-law Gail Lamb Matthews and husband Robert; grandchildren Lance Lamb, Scott Lamb, Clint (Jenny) Lamb, Jennifer Lamb, Harley (Liberty) Lamb, Justin Lamb, Calen (Heather) Lamb, and Allison Lamb; great-grandchildren Tyler, Brody, Tanner, Lacey, Lanie, Emma, Mystery, Chance, Devyn, Westley, Coley, Rylee, Gunnar, and Eli; great-great-grandson Kaedon; sisters Wanda Stufflebean and Donna Staggs; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 30th with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville
Burial: Terrace Park Cemetery, Kansas City, MO
