Charlene, I always wanted to meet you because I knew that my friend Amanda, with her courage and compassion and wisdom must surely have an amazing mother. I see now, looking at your portrait on this obituary, that you were indeed a woman of exceptional light and love and joy. Thank you, Charlene, for brightening our world with the love and hope of our Lord shining within you, and thank you for bringing to us your lovely children. You are with God and our Savior Jesus now, and we will endeavor to follow your example by continuing our lives exemplifying faith in the promise of eternal life.

She will be missed by many. I personally will miss her smile every time I go to Walmart. So young to go and so sudden.
