Casey Thomas Corten

Casey Thomas Corten, 42, of Smithville,
MO, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015.

He was born on September 11, 1972 to
Carl Thomas and Linda Darlene (Hosick) Corten in Evansville, Indiana.  Casey attended Park Hill High School in Kansas
City, MO. 

Casey worked in construction for over 20
years.  Casey could be found doing what
he loved most; fishing.  He took joy in
the quality time he spent with family and friends. Casey was a very charismatic
person and was always making people laugh.

He was preceded in death by his
grandparents, Carl T. Corten, Sr., and Herman and June Hosick.

Casey is survived by his parents Carl
and Linda Corten; children Morgan, Hunter, Cody, and Austin Corten and their
mother Christie Corten; sister Amiee Sodders and her husband Brian; nephews
Kyle Young and Trevor Sodders; his grandmother Elma Del Wazny; his girlfriend
Jacque Judd; his close friends Lonnie Holiday and Dean Dakin along with several
others.

Memorial
Service:  7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 20^th
with visitation from 5:30-7:00 p.m. prior to the service at Hixson-Klein
Funeral Home, Smithville
