In Remembrance Of
Carrie Ann Boswell-Dall
Carrie Ann Boswell-Dall passed away peacefully on April 26, 2016, one day past her 52nd birthday, at the University of Wisconsin Hospital, Madison, WI, after a brief and totally unexpected illness. She had been flown there for treatment and was surrounded by her family. Carrie put up a very brave fight with little complaint. She was born on April 25, 1964, in Omaha, Nebraska. She was a delightful, chatty little girl while moving about the Midwest as her father pursued his career. She settled in Kansas City, MO in 1975 with her family and attended New Mark Junior High and graduated Oak Park High School in 1982. She attended cosmetology school after high school. Her early employment was in retail sales until she became employed by a photo marketing company taking portraits around the Midwest. In 1999 she became employed by News America in marketing and became their Midwest Marketing Area Manager. She was very proud of her job. In 2002, she married Andy Dall in Nassau Bahamas and they resided in Smithville, MO soon after.
She loved her husband, her family, her friends, her job, and all the animals who came into her life. Her passion was caring for animals and trying to protect and save the less fortunate ones. She would have saved them all if she could. She was fiercely independent and self sufficient. She loved decorating her home and buying gifts for family, friends, and coworkers. She was a bright shiny star and always looked for the positive, encouraging those around her to do the same never accepting negativity.
Carrie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold and Mavis Apel, and Frank and Roma Boswell. She is survived by her husband, Andy, her mother Linda Baber, Camden Point, MO, and husband, Larry, her father John Boswell, Prescott, AZ, her brother Chris Boswell, Tacoma, WA, one stepsister, Elaina Lamley (Steve), Excelsior Springs, two stepbrothers, Edward Baber (Alisa), Kansas City and Wade Baber, Tulsa, OK, one half sister, Lynsey Young (Kendall), Prescott, AZ, two sisters-in-law, Christie Schroeder (Gary) Olathe, KS, and Dian Triggs(John) Bonner Springs, KS, Andy’s parents, Bob and Bobbie Dall, Olathe, KS and many nieces and nephews. I had the privilege of knowing Carrie as my manager with News America Marketing for the past 6 years. She was always so helpful and respected each one of us reps. I always looked forward to our monthly district meetings because Carrie made them so fun. She always brought us little gifts for whatever season we were in, and she kept us supplied with lots of chocolate! I loved catching up with her adventures in saving all kinds of animals, including stopping to get out on a busy highway to help a turtle cross, as well as picking up stray dogs and cats, trying to find their homes. She would proudly show us pictures of her beloved Stanley. I learned so much from Carrie, including taking pride in my work and having fun while doing it. It has been an honor to know her, and she will never be forgotten or replaced.Your reps miss you tremendously, Carrie, and we will continue to make you proud of your KC district by working in memory of your leadership. My deepest sympathy, love and prayers for all of Carrie's family and friends.

There are no words to express my saddness and heartache over your loss. I did not get to spend alot time with Carrie but in the little I did she was always a joy, quick to smile with an infectious laugh. The world has lost a beautiful soul, and the heavens gained an angel. I know there is nothing I can say to ease your pain during these unbearable times – I pray that God will carry you until you can walk again. May God bless and comfort you, forever in my prayers, Lori
