Carole Ann (Parks) Bridger
Carole Ann Bridger, 71, of Platte City, MO passed away on July 7, 2013 at home with her family by her side.
She was born on December 28, 1941 to Beldon E. and Enned Alice (Howell) Parks in Albany, MO where she grew up and graduated from Albany High School.
Carole was united in marriage to Larry Ted Bridger. They lived in Albany and in 1973 she moved to Platte City where she made her home.
She worked at the Runway Lounge in Platte City and later retired from the KCI Marriott in Kansas City. Carole was a devoted mother and grandmother, loved being with her family, cheering on the local sports teams and playing slots.
Carole was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Maryle Franklin.
She is survived by her children, David Bridger and wife Dorothy, Shane Bridger and wife Jody, Greg Bridger and wife Tracy, Glen Bridger and wife Carey and Aimee Campbell and husband Todd; grandchildren, Shane, Shannon, Chance, Zac, Mitch, Manda, Kaitlyn and Trinten; great-grandchildren, Liam, Jenna, and Miles; brothers, Larry Parks and Ron Parks; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation from 12:00-2:00 p.m. and Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday July 10th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville
Burial: Platte City Cemetery.
Donations: Three Rivers Hospice
