I met Carla years ago when our kids played on the same softball team for the P.A.L. Center. I loved her immediately! She was super fun and had so much love and admiration for all her kids. And you know it’s mutual by what they have to say about their mother and the cherished memories they share.
However tough she was, her heart was just as big. For a complete stranger she offered a place to sleep and helped with finding them a job – proof of God’s work and being a faithful servant, an example for us all. )Matthew 25:34-40).
She was the real deal and will always be fondly remembered. My deepest condolences to all her family and loved ones. She will be immeasurably missed.
