Carl Eugene Halley

Carl Eugene Halley, 63, of Smithville, MO, formerly of Edgerton, MO passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012.

He was born on November 7, 1948 to Carl and Jackie Mae (Bouray) Halley in Novinger, MO. Gene graduated from North Platte High School in 1968 and later served his country in the US Marine Corps.

Gene was a jack of all trades doing varies work in woodworking, green houses and was also an apartment manager.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Gene is survived by one brother, Bill Halley; three sisters, Wendy Shepherd and husband Ed, Donna Dorris and husband Johnnie, and Connie Hubbard and husband Leslie; daughter, Sophia Coleman; son, Douglas Halley; several cousins, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31^st at Lowman’s Café in Smithville, MO.
