Burl Wiley

Burl Wiley, 82 of Gower, MO formerly of St. Joseph, MO passed away, Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at his home. 

He was born May 12, 1937 in Isadora MO. Burl retired from Seitz after 35 years of service. On October 27, 1956 Burl married the love of his life, Beverly Ann Frederick. She survives of the home.

Burl was a kind and good-hearted man. He was a devoted husband, patient and loving father and proud and protective grandpa. A loyal friend, he loved auctions, camping, tinkering in his garage, dirt track racing and anything motorcycle.The highlight of his day was working on projects with his son, Duane. His greatest joy was time spent holding Beverly’s hand.His daughter, 

Dianna Lynn, preceded him in death in 2018.

Burl is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Duane & Sally Wiley, Gower, MO; nine grandchildren, Carly (Curt) Edwards, Justin (Nikki) Conroy, Jessica Acord, Justin (Katie) Acord, Taylor (Brett) Danbury, Caleb Wiley, Colby (Hannah) Wiley, Chloe Wiley, Brycen (Blayke) Conroy; ten great grandchildren; sister Betty and her family of Texas; his best buddy Wriggly; Beverly’s three sisters and their families: Beverly’s brother and his family; all of whom he loved as his own, as well as numerous other friends and family members.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 6th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.

Burial: Memorial Park Cemetery

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
