Bruce Morelock
William Bruce Morelock, 76, of Platte County, MO passed away Monday, September 28, 2020 at his home.
He was born on October 16, 1943 to Eldon and Helen (Stanley) Morelock in Shenandoah, IA and grew up in Red Oak, IA.
On September 11, 1977 he was united in marriage to Sue Hornbeck. After their marriage they lived in Platte County where they made their home.
Bruce was a member and a Deacon of the Camden Point Baptist Church. He was a union sheet metal worker for over 50 years and was a member of the Local Union #2.
He was preceded in death by an infant son William Bruce, Jr.; his parents Eldon and Helen Morelock and brother Ronald Morelock.
Bruce is survived by his wife Sue Morelock of the home; son Lonnie Bruce Morelock and wife Karen William Lee Morelock and wife Jennifer; grandchildren Sarah, Jenna, Allison, Katelyn and Jackson; sister Dolores Taylor and husband Larry; brother Dennis Morelock and wife Nancy; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Family Graveside Services will be held at Camden Point Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held later. Arrangements by Hixson-Klein Funeral Home.

Debbie and I send our deepest sympathy. Bruce was a great man and should be remembered as such. To me, he was a teacher, mentor, friend and father figure that I held tremendous respect for and I will sure miss him. It makes me smile to know that he knows Christ and Christ knows him.
