Brett Ryan Devling
Brett Ryan Devling, 34, of Elwood, KS, formerly of Savannah and St. Joseph, passed away, Saturday, July 2, 2016 as result of a vehicle accident.
He was born on April 1, 1982 in St. Joseph, MO. He grew up in Elwood and graduated from Elwood High School. He then attended Votech School of Atchison for Masonry. Brett was a brick layer in the St. Joseph area. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing
Brett was preceded in death by his mother, Jackie Killgore, and grandfathers Bob Killgore and Bob Devling.
Brett is survived by his father Alfred Devling; son Bradley Sharp; his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 7th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower with visitation one hour prior.
Burial: Allen Cemetery, Gower, MO.
In lieu of flowers an educational fund has been established for Brett’s son, Bradley Sharp, at the Farmers State Bank in Wathena, KS or donations to the Allen Cemetery.
Casual dress is requested.
