Brad A. Kennedy
Brad A. Kennedy, 50, of Ormond Beach, FL, formerly of Plattsburg, MO and St. Joseph, MO passed away, April 26, 2012.
He was born on April 19, 1962 to Alan Coy Kennedy and Cheryle Christine Henry in Smithville, MO. Brad was raised by his grandparents Coy and Leona (Anderson) Kennedy in Plattsburg. He graduated from Plattsburg High School in 1980. He then served his country in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Germany and was discharged at Ft. Campbell, KY. Brad then attended Platte Guard Business College in St. Joseph.
He operated Kennedy Painting and Drywall in Ormond Beach, FL. He was also employed at Ocean View Realty Group Inc in the property maintenance department.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Coy and Leona Kennedy and Jessie Alvin and Elvie (Mitchell) Henry, his aunt, Judy Kennedy Mick, and brother, Troy Kennedy.
Brad is survived by his two sons, Joshua Alan Kennedy, Massillon, OH and Austin Ray Kennedy, Greenwood, MO; grandson, Connor Kennedy, New Philadelphia, OH; father and step-mother, Alan and Leona Kennedy, Plattsburg; mother and step-father, Cheryle and Robert Swink, Titusville, FL; four sisters, Shonda Kennedy Stebleton, Rhonda Kennedy Lehnen, Ormond Beach, FL, Dana Sims Taylor, Delkalb, MO, and Robin Miller, Kansas City, MO; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19th at Frazier Cemetery.
