Bob Nelson

Bob
Nelson 83, of Plattsburg, MO formerly of Gower, MO, passed away October 30,
2015.

He
was born on March 21, 1932 to Bert Jesse and Mildred (Walker) Chittenden in Des
Moines, IA.  Bob served his country in
the US Army where he was a tank operator during the Korean War.

Bob
was a retired truck driver from Sysco Food Services.  He was a member of the VFW post #5717 in
Kearney, MO.  Bob enjoyed hunting and
fishing and was an avid sports fan.  He
loved helping people and most of all being with his family and
grandchildren. 

He
was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters.

Bob
is survived by his daughters, Debra Parker and husband Jim, Rose Marie Aker,
and Julie Morrison; grandchildren Barbara, Jimmy, Cole, Justin, Destiny, and
Shelton; ten great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Private
family services will be held.
