Bob Barber
Robert Wayne “Bob” Barber, 61, of Kansas City, MO passed away December 1, 2021.
He was born on July 30, 1960, to Irvin Lee and Jeanie (Smith) Barber in Kansas City, MO. Bob grew up in Gower and in 1978 he graduated from East Buchanan High School where he was active in Football and Basketball.
Bob worked for Kansas City University of Medicine and Bio Sciences for 29 years. He enjoyed photography and modeling for horror film, photography and haunted houses. Bob was an avid sports fan and most of all he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Irvin Lee Barber.
He survived by his children Amanda Barber, Nicholas Barber, Ryan Barber, Stacia (T.J.) Diaz and Anthony (Peter) Simsheuser; grandchildren Nick, Austin, Juliana, and Aiden; his mother Jeanie Barber; brothers Jim (Diane) Barber and Mike (Suzie) Barber; sister Michele (John) Herpel; several nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 7th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville
Burial: Allen Cemetery, Gower,
