Bill Forsyth

Bill Forsyth (89) of Smithville, MO, passed away peacefully on February 11th, 2025.

Bill was born on May 21st, 1935, in Kansas City, Missouri. His parents were Cecil and Marie Forsyth.

On February 19th, 1955, he married the love of his life Carolyn Forsyth. They were married for 69 years. Bill worked as an over-the-road truck driver before opening B& B Electronics and Marine in Smithville, MO.

Bill is proceeded in death by his son, Billy Forsyth, and his parents.

He will be greatly missed and is survived by his wife Carolyn and his children, Barry Forsyth and Tracy Thomas. Grandchildren: Tiffany (Blane) Hogan, Jessica (Dakota) Merrill, Dallas (Korynn) Thomas, Helen Forsyth, and Harrison Forsyth. Bill was blessed with 5 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held later.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Southside Baptist Church (350 NE Amory Rd, Smithville MO 64089).
