Bill Farrell

Billy Frank Farrell, 80, of Smithville, MO passed away, December 5, 2022.

He was born on January 5, 1942 to Justin Leroy and Virginia Ruth (Devers) Farrell in Grant City, MO. Bill grew up in Grant City and graduated from Grant City High School.

On May 26, 1962 he was united in marriage to Bonnie Brown. After their marriage they lived in Smithville where they made their home.

Bill sold Off the Road Tires for many years, he retired from Cross Midwest Tire Company. He enjoyed fishing at Smithville Lake and was a member of the Plattsburg Country Club where he enjoyed golfing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John Farrell and Bob Farrell; and his daughter, Julia Bargman.

Bill is survived by his wife, Bonnie; children, Kelly (Sheila) Farrell, Jodi (Charlie) Green, and Troy (Shellie) Farrell; son-in-law, Scott Bargman; grandchildren, Josh (Emma) Green, Tiffany (Todd) Cox, Justin Farrell, Jeremy Farrell, Olivia Beseda, Nick Beseda, Zach Bargman (Morgen), Troy Bargman, Tyler (Campbell) Lakatos, Teegan Farrell, and Jayce Farrell; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Ellee, Jolene, Loretta, Lynnlee, and Jaxon; brother Tom Farrell; sisters-in-law, Donna Farrell and Phyllis (Gary) Nally; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8th at the Family Worship Center in Smithville.

Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 9th at Ridgely Cemetery. 

Arrangements, Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville.

Donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice or Julia Bargman Hope Foundation.
