Beverly Jean Johnson

Beverly Jean Johnson, 63, of Trimble, MO passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013.

 

She was born on January 27, 1950 in Kansas City, KS.  Bev grew up in Trimble and graduated from Plattsburg High School.

 

On August 8, 1980 she was united in marriage to Harold P. Johnson.  After their marriage they lived in Trimble where they made their home.

 

Bev worked for Pack’s Hardware in Smithville for several years. 

 

She was a member of the Community of Christ in Smithville. She was also a member of the Beta Sigma Phi in Trimble and was an active member of the Forever Young Seniors Group.  Bev loved having sleepovers with her grandchildren, teaching them anything she could.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend making anyone smile she could.

 

Bev was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Woods and Winnie and Delbert “Doc” Pruitt; son Gary Johnson; and brothers Jack Woods, Jr. and Ronnie Pruitt. 

 

She is survived by her loving and supportive husband Harold Johnson of the home; children, John Witherspoon and wife Jo Marie, Angela Johnson, and Johnny Johnson; grandchildren, Lynsey and Lauren; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. 

 

Funeral Service:  11:00 a.m. Friday April 5^th at the Community of Christ in Smithville with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service.

Burial:  Allen Cemetery, Gower
