Beverly Fisher McKee

Beverly Fisher Mckee, 81, Gower, died early Thursday morning, March 27, 2014 at the Gower Convalescent Center in Gower.       

 

Beverly was born January 1, 1933 to Marion Newton McKee and Cela Lila (Fisher) McKee in Nevada, Missouri.

 

She was married twice. Both former husbands preceded her in death. Beverly worked the majority of her life at the Chicago Bank and Trust and Northern Trust, both in Chicago, serving in a variety of positions, including vice president in later years. She lived in Chicago most of her adult life, retiring in Gower, Missouri. She enjoyed her years living in her log cabin just outside Gower. She loved crocheting and spending time outside flower gardening.

 

She was also preceded in death by her parents, sisters Evelyn Bastow & Shirley Goll, and brother, Howard McKee.

 

Survivors include: son Greg Slad, Motley MN; granddaughter Farrah McKinney, husband Jarrod, great grandchildren Bella and Tripp; grandson Eric Slad, wife Casie, great grandchildren Daniel and Nathan. Grandson Michael Slad, granddaughter Patricia Heck; sister in law, Gerry McKee; niece Gail Current, husband Jim, great-nieces Courtney, Claire and Caitlin; niece Cela Sullivan, husband John; niece Marian Erwin, husband Russ; great niece Robin Williams, husband Clinton; great niece Ashton Tidemann, husband Bradley; great nephew, Bradley Erwin; and great great nieces; as well as cousins.

 

There will be no services, at Beverly’s request. She will be cremated.
