Beulah Mae (Grable) Martin

Beulah Martin, 91, of Edgerton, MO, passed away, Sunday, December 4, 2011 at her home.

She was born on October 29, 1920 to Frederick Murray and Virginia Gray (Hay) Grable in Edgerton, MO. She grew up near Edgerton where she attended school.

On December 7, 1941 she was united in marriage to Robert Byron Martin. After their marriage they lived near Edgerton where they made their home.

Beulah was a LPN at the Gower Convalescent Center for many years.

She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where she taught Bible School, was very involved in her Bible Study Class, and also volunteered at the Food Kitchen in St. Joseph. Bob and Beulah were Foster Parents for many years. Beulah enjoyed needlework and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Charlie Bill, Irvin, and Carl Grable.

Beulah is survived by her husband, Bob; daughters, Donna Kinyon and husband Joe, Tulsa, OK and Julie Martin, Edgerton, MO; five grandchildren, Robert Kinyon and wife Dione, David Kinyon and wife Lisa, Jenera Kyle and Mark Green, Corbin Langner and husband Kevin, and Cian Martin; seven great-grandchildren, Kody, Bevyn, Kora, Eli, Julina, Steiger, Livia; her sister, Ione Crouch, Kansas City, MO; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Service: 6:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10th at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Edgerton with visitation following at the church.

Donations may be made to the church.
