Betty Marie Sackman

Betty Marie Sackman, 84, of rural Gower, MO passed away, Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at her home.

She was born on August 4, 1930 to William Napoleon and Edna (West) Berry in Polo, MO. Betty grew up and attended school in Tatesville, MO.

She was married to Harold R. Murray and they had two children. Betty later was united in marriage to Lyle M. “Bill” Sackman and they had one daughter. After their marriage they lived in rural Gower, MO where they made their home. Her husband, Bill, passed away on January 28, 2001.

Betty enjoyed gardening and going to garage sales.

She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter Dianna Murray; her parents; two brothers Chris and Si Berry and one sister Geneva Carr.

Betty is survived by her children, Dan Murray, Easton, MO and Lisa McKown and husband Ronny, Trimble, MO; grandchildren, Michael Murray, Kelsey Buhman and husband Ethan and Dylan Perks; two great-grandchildren; sister Linnie Murray; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 4th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Burial: Cameron Memory Gardens, Cameron, MO.
