Betty A. (Mayo) Morrow

Betty A. (Mayo) Morrow, 85, of Gladstone, MO passed away July 30, 2007 at North Kansas City Hospital. Visitation from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 2, with funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. at Linden Baptist Church, Gladstone. Burial will be at Ridgely Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Linden Baptist Church.

Betty was a lifelong area resident. She was born on April 15, 1922, and grew up and lived much of her adult life in Edgerton, MO. She was married to David S. Morrow on April 9, 1948. They moved to Gladstone in 1985. She was a member of the Linden Baptist Church and enjoyed her extended church family. Betty was also a member of the Barry Chapter of the Eastern Star. She also enjoyed many years with her quilting group.

Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David, her parents, Arlie and Ada Mayo, and her brother, Leonard Mayo.

She leaves behind her sister-in-law, Martha Mayo, her nephews, Charlie and Paul Mayo and their children, and her niece, Joyce Mayo, all of Kansas City. Betty was a good friend and a wonderful aunt and will be greatly missed.
