Barbara Taylor

Barbara Taylor, 72, of Gower, MO passed away, Friday, July 21, 2017.
 
She was born on May 27, 1945 to Virgil B. Mather and Dorothy Jean (Stanton) Corkins in Dowagiac, MI.  She grew up in the Gower area and attended Gower High School. 
 
Barbara was a Med Tech at the Gower Convalescent Center for 32 years.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and extended family.
 
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Terry Ben Taylor and John R. Henry, sons, Brian Elmer Henry and Guye Allen Henry and her sister, Linda Joyce Norris.  
 
Barbara is survived by her son, Brenton Wayne Henry and John Scott Henry; daughters, Leslie Ann Henry, Kristi Nilla Henry, Vicki Rae Ameye and Dawn Rene Ruth; grandchildren,
Joshua Brian Taber, Jacob Mark Holder, Anna Grace Henry, John Adam Henry, Samuel David Henry, William Thomas Henry, and Emma Grace Ballard; great-granddaughter, Karrington Anne Holder; sisters, Janet Kay “Katie” Musser, Shannon Pike, Mary Lee Green, Jane Nash and Tootie Bryan; brother, Freddie Corkins; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ben and Shirley Taylor; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
 
Visitation:  6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, July 24th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.
Private Family Graveside Services at Allen Cemetery.

    I just wanted to thank Kate Mike dawn and Kim Steve also for making her last Christmas one she enjoyed she talked to me about how good you all were to her how she hasn’t gotten out and seen so much in the past ten years the you all cared deeply and made her feel at home I truly believe if shed have been left alone and not felt the need to help with another’s responsibilities she would most definitely still be enjoying you heart felt and warm company I am not guessing she said it was so Thank You and God Bless you all and peace in knowing you did her very right to the end TY Leslie Henry
