BARBARA STUMPENHAUS

Barbara Stumpenhaus, 85, of Smithville, Mo., passed away, Wednesday, October 18, 2006.

She was born on May 1, 1921 to Algee Bennett and Anna Beatrice (Naven) Tomlinson in Wichita Falls, Texas. In 1938 she graduated from Lampasas Texas High School.

On March 27, 1965 she was united in marriage to Norman Stumpenhaus, he preceded her in death in February of 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Blaine and Arneil Tomlinson.

She is survived by son; Jim Lauderdale and wife, Melinda, Kansas City, Mo., step-son; Norman Stumpenhaus, Jr. and wife, Loretta, Smithville, Mo., step-daughter; Susan Martin and husband, Steve, Excelsior Springs, Mo., three grandchildren; Eric, Cheri, and Stephanie, five great-grandchildren; Brittini, Cody, Jacob, Kalani and Lauren, brother; Bremond Tomlinson, Lampasas, Tx., several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

VISITATION: 6:30-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville, Mo.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE and BURIAL: 3:00 P.M., Saturday, October 21, 2006 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lampasas, Texas.
