BARBARA JEAN GUYER

Barbara Jean Guyer, 73, of Edgerton, Mo., passed away, Thursday, March 23, 2006 at North Kansas City Hospital.

She was born on September 14, 1932 to Clifton Dallas and Margaret Lavona (Allnutt) Blankenship near Faucett, Mo. Barbara attended school and grew up in Faucett and Edgerton and in 1951 graduated from Edgerton High School.

On November 1, 1952 she was united in marriage to John E. Guyer. After their marriage they lived in Edgerton where they made their home.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, a sister; Carol Larson and infant brother; Clifton LeRoy Blankenship.

She is survived by her husband, John, of the home, sons; David Guyer and wife Goldie, Manhattan, Ks., and Charles Guyer and wife, Pam and daughter Cindy Romey and husband, Jay, all of Edgerton, six grandchildren; Bill, Barbara, Melissa, Jeremy, Rachel and Nathaniel, five great-grandchildren; Corbin, Trevor, Jordan, Samantha and Clarissa, sister: Sue Mesa, Kansas City, Mo., several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 P.M., Sunday, March 26th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Edgerton. Inurnment at Ridgely Cemetery.
