B. JEAN LaFOLLETTE

Bobby Jean LaFollette, 73, of St. Joseph, Mo., passed away, Friday, April 22, 2005 in St. Joseph.

She was born on August 2, 1931 to Charles and Sarah Monte (Norton)
Clinton in Clovis, New Mexico. Bobby Jean grew up and attended school in Glendale, Ca.

On August 27, 1947 she was united in marriage to James Edward LaFollette in Phoenix, Az. After their marriage they lived in Glendale, Ca., Sunland, Ca., Shadow Hills, Ca., and in 1964 they moved near Gower where they farmed. In 1974 they traveled around the country and in 1976 they made their home in Marysville, Wa. Her husband, James, passed away on June 29, 1985. Bobby Jean then moved to St. Joseph., Mo.

She was a member of the Sunland Baptist Church in Sunland, Ca., attended the Frazier Baptist Church, and later was a member of the Grace Community Church in Marysville, Wa. Where she volunteered in the Infant Daycare.

Bobby Jean worked at Montgomery Wards in St. Joseph, Eldec Corp. in Everett, Wa.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, her son, Edward Ellworth LaFollette III, her daughter, Valerie Jean LaFollette, one sister, Hazel Bradshaw, five brothers, Harry, Paul, Hollis, Lee and Wayne Clinton.

Bobby Jean is survived by one son, James Russell ?Russ? LaFollette and wife, Laurel, St. Joseph, Mo., seven grandchildren, Jeremy, Josh, Eli, Gloria Jean, Hulda Jane, Jason, and Jennifer, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 25, 2005, at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.
BURIAL: Frazier Cemetery
VISITATION: 4:00-6:00 P.M., Sunday at the funeral home.
