I have met many men through the years but none more memorable than Arthur Herman. Arthur was a man among men. He was loved and adored by his family and friends alike and most of us would be well served to be more like him. Arthur said what he meant, and meant what he said. He was quick to smile and laugh and made anyone who met him feel at ease immediately. I believe my life was made better by knowing Arthur and his family. He will be missed.
That aint no boat out there.

Uncle Arthur, I will miss your easy- going manner, your sense of humor and your good – willed nature. You are responsible for many, many wonderful childhood memories for me and I thank you for that. I know you and Papa and Grandma are up there performing antics to make everyone laugh! Rest in Peace Uncle Arthur.
