Anne (Bennett) Kemmer

Anne (Bennett) Kemmer, 76 of Easton, MO passed away, Wednesday, March 18, 2015

She was born on March 9, 1939.  Anne grew up in Chillicothe, MO and graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1957.

On October 25, 1958 she was united in marriage to Louis Kemmer.  After their marriage they lived in Easton where they made their home on the family farm.  Her husband, Louie, preceded her in death on December 11, 1995.

While raising her six children, Anne was a Girl Scout Leader for 25 years, involved in 4-H, the Boy Scouts and the Easton Fair.  Anne had a love for animals, enjoyed vegetable gardening, and was very active in the community.

She worked for American Insurance Company and Morton Reed and Counts Law Firm in St. Joseph.

Anne was also preceded in death by her mother, Alice Irene (Randall) Bennett.

She is survived by her children, Charles Kemmer and wife Debbie, Tammy Williams and husband Danny, Beth Kemmer and Greg Anderson, Tim Kemmer, Stephen Kemmer, Becky Seibold and husband Eric; ten grandchildren, Mark, LeeAnne, Crystal, Chad, Rudy, Brandy, Cameron, Kelsey, Hans, Piper; and ten great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial Visitation:  6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, March 23rd at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower, MO.   

Private Family Inurnment:  St.  Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Easton, MO.
