Anna Barbara (Smith) Snyder

Anna Barbara Snyder 95, of Gower, MO passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2010.

She was born on June 1, 1915 to Orlando Hugh and Bess Ellen (Boone) Smith in Agency, MO. Ann graduated from Agency High School in 1933.

On June 5, 1937 she was united in marriage to C.R. “Sardy” Snyder. After their marriage they lived in Faucett, Craig, and Corning before moving to Gower in 1958 where they made their home. Her husband, Sardy, passed away, April 2, 1989.

Ann worked at Clarksdale Bank, for the Craig School District in the cafeteria and served for several years as an election judge for Clinton County.

Ann was a member of the Gower Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, W.B., Carroll, and Porter Smith.

Ann is survived by her sons, Gene Snyder and wife, Marlys, and Ron Snyder and wife, Linda; six grandchildren, Mark and wife, Stefanie, Corey and wife, Leisa, Ryan, Jill and husband, Nick, Lyndsay, and Jeffrey; seven great-grandchildren, Bridgett, Avery, Isabelle, Jaden, Madeline, Drew and Jacob; sister-in-law, Opal Smith; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 24^th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.

Burial: Frazier Cemetery

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
