Ann Lou “Lukie” (Stanton) Grisham
Anna Lou “Lukie” Grisham, 77, of Gower, MO passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 at the Gower Convalescent Center.
She was born on March 15, 1937 to Charles and Anna Grace (Tadlock) Stanton in rural Agency, MO where she grew up and graduated from Faucett High School.
On August 18, 1957 she was united in marriage to Rexel Clark Grisham. After their marriage they lived in Gower where they made their home.
Lukie retired from the Bank of Gower after over 40 years of services.
She was a lifetime member of the Agency Christian Church. Lukie belonged to several clubs and organization in the community and enjoyed playing cards. She loved entertaining her grandchildren and being with family.
Lukie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Dale Stanton, James Stanton and W.B. “Dub” Stanton and sisters Arlene McClelland and Dorothy Jean Corkins.
She is survived by her husband Rex of the home; daughters Julie McDowell and Gina Farmer and husband Mark; four grandchildren, Bret Farmer, Alex McDowell, Katelyn McDowell, and Abby Farmer; great-granddaughter, Hannah Elaine; brother Stanley Stanton; sisters Donna Klenk, Doris Johnson and Patty Spaeth; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Lukie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 12th at the Gower Christian Church AFC Building.
Burial: Allen Cemetery, Gower
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 11th at the Gower Christian Church AFC Building
Donations may be made to the Gower Christian Church AFC Building Fund
