AMELIA JANE TAYLOR

Amelia Jane Taylor, 85, of Smithville, MO, passed away, Thursday, March 23, 2006 at Beverly Health Care in Smithville.

She was born on June 30, 1920 to William and Barbara Lee (Bixby) Frye in Hines, California. She attended school and grew up in the Long Beach, California area. Amelia later served in the U.S. Army during WWII.

Amelia lived in the Riverside, California for over 40 years later moving to Smithville. MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Virgil Roy Taylor, one brother, William Frye, Jr., and one grandson, Daniel James Devens.

Amelia is survived by two daughters, Anne Marie Engleman, Palm Springs, CA, and Robin Lee Davis and husband, Richard, Smithville, MO, four grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew, Rachel and Luke, one brother, Robert Frye, Litchfield Park, Arizona, and one sister, Barbara (Bixby) Childers, Taylorsville, Utah.
