Alvin Kroeker
Alvin Kroeker, 82, of Smithville, Mo., passed away, Tuesday, January 29, 2008.
He was born on December 27, 1925 to Jake and Minnie (Lettkeman) Kroeker in Clinton, Oklahoma where he attended school and grew up. He served his country in the U.S. Army during W.W.II. After his honorable discharge he returned to Clinton.
On January 21, 1948 he was united in marriage to Anna Mae Hensley. After their marriage they lived in Clinton until 1970 when they moved to Smithville where they made their home. His wife, Anna, passed away, July 9, 2006.
Alvin worked on the T.B. Sanitorium Dairy Farm in Clinton and retired from American Can in North Kansas City.
He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Nashua, MO.
Alvin was also preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Funeral Service: 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 1st at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville with Visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial: Mt. Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery, Kansas City.
