ALLEN MUSSER

Allen Musser, 77, of Plattsburg, MO, passed away, Friday, March 31, 2006 at Liberty Hospital.

He was born on July 13, 1928 to Rollie Lee and Clara Belle (Carter) Musser near Starfield, MO, where he grew up and graduated from Gower High School. He then served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge he returned to the Gower area. Allen later moved to Plattsburg where he raised his three sons.

He worked for Schuster Farms in Gower as a truck driver for many years, retiring in 1987.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, William C., Clay, Leonard Kay, Darrell, and Charles R., and two sisters, Nettie Bottoroff and Jean Musser.

He is survived by three sons, John Musser and wife, Sandra, Agency, MO, Jimmy Musser, Kearney, MO, and Dale Musser, Plattsburg, MO, eight grandchildren, David, Chris, Ashley, Johnna, Jenny, Sheri, Jason, and Robin, and two great-grandchildren, D.J. and Alexis, one brother, Rollie A. “Junior” Musser, Gower, MO, and three sisters, Anna Mae Summerfield, Portland, OR, Doris Brinton and Joan Gilleland, both of St. Joseph, MO, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 3rd at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower.
Burial with Military Honors: Mt. Zion Cemetery, Gower.
Visitation: 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
