Allen Benson Copeland
Allen Benson Copeland, 91, of Gower, MO passed away Saturday, November 3, 2007.
He was born on September 23, 1916 in Brock Oklahoma where he grew up and attended school. He later moved to California where he met his wife, Redia Hensley. In 1987 they moved to Gower where they made their home. Redia passed away on October 6, 2002.
Al was a member of the Christian faith.
He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing and gardening.
Al is survived by daughters, Melba Hammons, Carol Mulk, Darlene Simonara, and Glenda Faught; step-sons, Reginald Burch and Michael Channell; twenty-two grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Velma Morton and husband M.W. “Buster” and Pauline Hensley, many nieces and nephews other relatives and several friends. A special thank you to the staff at the Gower Convalescent Center.
Graveside Service: 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 5th at Allen Cemetery, Gower.
