ALLAN R. TEAFORD
Allan R. ?Jerry? Teaford, 77, of Trimble, Mo., passed away, March 29, 2005.
He was born on December 9, 1927 to Noah Fenton and Elinor (Utter) Teaford in St. Joseph, Mo., where he attended school and grew up. He then served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII and U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
On April 26, 1947 he was united in marriage to Jean Drake. After their marriage they lived in Kansas City, Mo., and in 1966 they moved to Trimble where they made their home.
Jerry worked at Westinghouse and Sheffield Steel, both in Kansas City, and General Motors Fairfax Plant in Kansas City, Ks. for over 27 years, retiring in 1988.
He was a member of the Trimble Baptist Church and the United Auto Workers #31 in Kansas City, Ks. Jerry was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Grandview.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Yvonne Teaford.
He is survived by his wife, Jean, of the home, one son, Stephen Teaford, Martinsburg, West Virginia, one daughter, Margaret ?Peggy? Schu, LaVista, Ne., seven grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Service: 4:00 P.M., Saturday, April 16th, at the Trimble Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to: The Missions Program at the Trimble Baptist Church.
