Aliene Harris

Aliene Harris, 98, of Grayson, MO passed away Wednesday March 15, 2023.

She was born on May 10, 1924, to Allen and Lula Harris in the Paradise, MO area where she grew up in graduated from Smithville High School. 

 Aliene was preceded in death by her husbands Freddie Miller, Roy Duncan, and Leo Harris; sisters Lillian Taylor, Mary Peck and Daisy Moore; and her brothers Roscoe, Clifford, Jasper “Jap”, Wylie, Donald and Henry Harris.

She is survived by her daughter Joyce Transmeier and husband Joe; step granddaughters Jacqueline Transmeier and Cheri (Scott) Collins; three great-grandsons Dalton, Sean, and Isaiah; brother-in-law Lewis Moore, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. 

 Visitation: 1:00-2:00 p.m. with Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 18th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, 104 W. Church Street, Smithville, MO Burial: Grayson Cemetery, Grayson, MO

Donations may be made to Grayson Cemetery.

    Sorry to hear of Ailene’s passing. I didn’t know her until much later in my life but, always enjoyed visiting with her. The Harris family had close ties to my mom’s (Darlene) family the Kings, I felt like we should be related.
    May she rest in peace.
