Alice Rae (Haughey) Carroll
Alice R. Carroll, 88, of Kansas City, MO, formerly St. Joseph and Gower passed away, Thursday, August 14, 2014.
She was born on September 23, 1925 to Herman Ray and Geneva Dean (Groom) Haughey in Gower, MO. Alice graduated from Gower High School in 1943 and later graduated from Platte Business College in St. Joseph.
Alice worked for Santa Fe Trucking Line in St. Joseph as a bookkeeper. She transferred to Kansas City in 1946, and continued working there until she retired in 1985.
She was a member of the Gower Baptist Church.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, brother Elton Haughey, and sister and brother-in-law Doris and Homer Etheridge.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 18th at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial: Allen Cemetery
