Alice Mae (Patterson) Fisher

Alice Mae Fisher, 74, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011.

She was born on April 25, 1937 to Robert “Bob” and Reba Ruth (Musser) Patterson near Gower, MO. She was raised near Plattsburg and in 1955 graduated from Plattsburg High School. Alice later attended Terry’s School of Cosmetology in Riverside, MO.

Alice worked as a hairdresser for Marge’s Greek Goddess in Meadowbrook, Phillips in Gladstone and Zillah’s in Claycomo. She also worked for Antioch Bowling Alley for many years.

Alice was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Darrell Wayne Patterson.

She is survived by one son, Steven Fisher, Independence, MO; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Ryan and Douglas Fisher and Paige and Landon Patterson; two great-grandchildren, Samiah and Jaleah; three sisters, Mary R. Patterson, Kansas City, MO, Lois Rosenauer, St. Joseph, MO, Helen Callahan and husband, Russell, Smithville, MO; two brothers, Robert Patterson, Cameron, MO, and Bill Patterson, Edgerton, MO; several nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service: 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 17^th at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Smithville with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Burial: Mt. Zion Cemetery, Gower
