Alice B. Schlup

Alice B. Schlup, 88, of Maysville, MO, formerly of Trimble, MO, passed away, Monday, May 7, 2007.

She was born on November 24, 1918 to LeRoy and Esta Lydia (Hyatt) Wright in Santa Rosa, MO, where she grew up and graduated from Weatherby High School.

In 1950 she married Roy Schlup. After their marriage they lived near Trimble, and in 1992 they moved to Osborn, MO. Alice worked as a housekeeper in Kansas City for many years.

Alice was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church and the Trimble Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Carole Ann Childress, brothers and sisters, Gladys Wright, Floyd Wright, Albert Wright, Zilpha Venture, Pearl Dilley, Earl Wright, and Arthur Wright.

Alice is survived by her husband, Roy; four grandchildren, Jeffrey and Tammy Morrison, and Eric and Lewis Childress, seven great-grandchildren, Tammy Sue, Michael, Naome, Neva, Frank, David, and Brandon; one brother, Devon Wright, Osborn, MO, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services: 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 10^th at Hopewell Baptist Church, Weatherby, MO, with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Burial: Hopewell Cemetery, Weatherby, MO.
