Alfred Morgan
Alfred "Big A" Morgan, 68, of Waverly Missouri, formerly of Plattsburg Missouri passed away December 7th, 2023.
He was born September 23, 1955 to Lester Asbury and Helen Faye (Murray) Morgan in St Joseph Missouri, but grew up in Plattsburg, where he attended Plattsburg schools. And he did a short stint in the military.
He was self-employed working on cars and doing other odd jobs. He loved fishing, mushroom hunting and spending good times with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Helen Faye Morgan; his second wife, Nancy; two brothers, Herman Lewis Morgan and Richard Marvin Morgan; one sister Margaret Elaine Morgan; three sisters-in-law, Caroline Morgan, Keiko Morgan, and Shirley Morgan; brother-in-law, Claude Shannon; two nephews, Lester Carol Morgan and David Cordell Morgan.
He is survived by his two sons Clint (Erica Barton) Morgan of Cameron, MO and Jeremy Morgan of Kansas; the mother of his boys Letitia Lamontagne; brothers, Ray Morgan of Plattsburg, Jim Morgan of Kingman, Indiana, Norman Morgan of Independence, MO and Darrell (Sue) Morgan of Plattsburg; sisters Doris Morgan of Plattsburg, Sherry Belbin of Lathrop, MO; several nieces nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.In lieu of flowers donations to funeral home.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 13th at First Baptist Church of Plattsburg with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial: Mt. Zion Cemetery, Gower, MO.
Donations may be made in his memory to Hixson-Klein Funeral Home.
