Alfred D. Duncan
Alfred D. Duncan, 86 of Easton, MO passed away, Tuesday, October 18, 2016.
He was born on July 2, 1930 to David Franklin and Lola (Turner) Duncan in Amazonia, MO. Al attended Pleasant Hill Grade School in Hurlinger and high school in Easton, MO. Al served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
On April 8, 1950 he was united in marriage to Darlene Roberts. After their marriage they lived in St. Joseph, and in 1990 moved to rural Easton.
Al was a mechanic for Reynolds Auto, and was a truck driver for Dannon Mills and Seitz Foods. He was a lifelong farmer, was an antique tractor collector and enjoyed tractor cruises and parades.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Mabel Shannon and Ann Patterson, and son-in-law, Thomas Drannan.
Al is survived by his wife, Darlene, of the home; daughters, Twyla Beeney and husband Jack, Karen Duncan, and Ronda Gottswiller and husband Todd; grandsons, Brady Drannan and Cole Gottswiller; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service: 1:30 p.m. Sunday, October 23rd at Hixson-Klein Funeral Home, Gower with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial: Blakely Cemetery, Easton, MO
